derfuss asked: So which film classes have you really liked? I've only take the horror film 272 class

oh wow, we go to the same school!

anyway, I lovedddd horror 272. Jennifer was so rad and made me really love horror films. Other than that, I took a Hitchcock class (which was odd because I don’t really like Hitchcock as a person), but I really liked some of his films. Other than that, I’m in a German/Scandinavian Crime-Scene class right now that’s really interesting!

That’s how I felt about Polanski when we analyzed him in a C Lit class. Even though I must say I love Chinatown

derfuss asked: When talking about Woody Allen, are you talking about his films, or the fact that he's a pedophile? I've only watched a couple of his films, they never stood out that much.

Both. Mainly because he’s a pedophile but also because his movies are whiny and boring and unfunny and just, ugh. He’s an “ugh” person in general.

ok yeah elitism in the film community sucks but if you like woody allen then i’m better than you deal with it

jorelrodney asked: Ah, I see. I'm sorry for assuming it was just awkwardness. I can even make up a thing to say for that, that's just frightening. On the money side of things, I suggest you look into screenplay competitions. I don't know which ones exactly, but there are ones who give out money to help with the production of the script. I don't know what the pitfalls are, but I'm looking into it right now.

Yeah I’ve been looking into some as well. The Nicholl Fellowship would be the ideal, but I think my full-length script is a year or two from being entry-ready. Idk what the pitfalls are either, but it could definitely be worth it for $10,000-$30,000, y’know?
